Another Curt Boettcher produced single from an unknown band whose B side "The Night We Fell in Love" is probably the more known release in Los Angeles in 1967. Enjoy!

  • started with kippington lodge and then listening to the links and their all good so far. love sixties music always looking for new sounds.

  • Thanks, it has been a little slow with graduate work and full-time teaching. I have a sister site at sunshinetunes67 that my partner does a lot more posting than I do.

  • Wow, that is a really beautiful track. I love it. Curt was the King Midas of sunshine pop. Everything he touched turned into gold. Thank you very much for posting it.

  • Thanks for the nice comments. Nice tag you gave Curt, he really was the King of Sunshine Pop.

  • Could you please also post "The Night We Fell in Love"? That would be great!

  • It is on; have you seen it?

  • Yes, these recordings surely do have merit. I have always been one to go for the obscure. There is so much talent in this world and so little of it is exposed to a mass market. Keep up the good work.

  • It sounds so similar to Curt B's other projects, Millennium and Ballroom, that I wonder if it's the same musicians and just released under a different group name.

  • I love hearing the songs that were hits but weren't.

  • @williamkanegateshead- you will LOVE the Los Angeles Nuggets 1965-68 boxed set. Get it, unless you've got it?

  • Standing in this rainy darkness Not a star pervades the night Standing in my lonely shadow Will I ever see the light ? Don't say no Give me just a little of your sunshine Don't say no Can't you see how dark my life is without you ? In the winter of my life time Longing for a hand to hold Want to find my only true love Before my eyes have grown too old
  • Don't say no Give me just a little of your sunshine Don't say no Can't you see how dark my life is without you ? People always call me on earth I think that you hang far between Always searching for my rainbow Going where the grass is green Don't say no Give me just a little of your sunshine Don't say no Can't you see how dark my life is without you ? I think thats right !! Ade in the UK
  • Unknown?! This can't be. They must be found so I can give them half of my kingdom! Fantastic!
