This is a surface Permanent magnet machine of the axial flux variety. They are affectionately referred to as "pancake" machines in some circles. Let me know if that is what you were looking for. Is there any more information or built tutorial of that turbine somewhere?

I would like to built a vertical turbine...would the same generator work?

Hugh Piggot has a set of build instructions for a turbine much like mine. He charges a fair price I would highly recommend looking into it.

John R. Christy has been accused of recanting his position that climate change is neither Anthropogenic nor Catastrophic, but he didn’t. He used two independent data sets, weather balloon and satellite for his findings. 1 /2 Obama stop offshore drilling until it was reinstated. This could cause a $5 a gallon increase, because we would grow dependent upon foreign nations we are not allies with in order to provide our oil. Cap and Trade (American Power Act) would increase gas prices increase by $2.58 a gallon according to George C. Marshall Institute& taxes on the average household up to $3200 according to the RNC Foreign countries price gouge w/ gas prices to $10/gal!.
