I might let the ducks work the decoys, closer shots, not just passing over. if they had been pouring in there the day before, they should decoy well. Just a thought!

@lhare2525 Thanks for the advice ... as a full-time professional outfitter for 18 years, I have learned when to call the shot. Very few shots that I call are outside of 30 yards. Most are 5 to 15 yards when I give the go ahead. The video camera has a way of distorting the scene and making it look further than it is.

What happens to the ducks if it's not a good quick kill shot, like that duck dying slowly that you showed a brief shot of? Seems like it's a bit brutal, or do they die quickly?
