why should he have given a damn about olivia son olivia had every opportunity too tell either sonny or dante before it was too late when they had that dinner when dante was in the hospital when dante told her that sonny wanted too hand over his business too him so you can all put the blame on sonny but you all no what he does too traitors and olivia knows that aswell so matter of the fact the biggest blame is on olivia

Sonny brought ALL of this on himself. he should not have covered up what was easily justifiable homicide and he shot an innocent cop in cold blood, who just happened to be his son. I feel not one bit of sympathy for him, and saying that he is "sacrificing" because he is confessing to the one crime he didn't commit is annoying to say the least.

I still think Sonny has to ADMIT that it was purely wrong to shoot Dante. NOT because he is his son. But because Dante SAVED Morgan's life and Sonny's life. See, that's why I don't understand how Sonny could have shot a man who saved his youngest son's life. Now, if we actually HEAR Sonny talk about the fact that it was purely wrong to shoot Dante. Not because he is his son. Then I'd gladly watch Sonny make it up to Dante.

I hate Sonny and don't understand why he is the "hero" of this show. He shot an unarmed cop when he was already going to be arrested, for no other reason than wounded pride ... what if Dante has just been Olivia's son? Would he have given a damn? Disgusting.

because if Sonny confesses to shooting Dante AFTER BOTH Dante and Olivia claimed that it didn't happen, it would implicate Sonny, Dante, and Olivia, which wouldn't do anyone any good.

And as for Michael working out a self-defense plea...Sonny would never let one of his kids get near prison.

So this way, he keeps both Michael and Dante out of harm's way.
