Nine Network - Today Returns Promo 1990

Nine Network promo for the Today Show with Steve Liebmann and Elizabeth Hayes, re-launching in the new year in 1990.

Features a "dream sequence" with the presenters over-sleeping and waking up to see a ruffled newsreader Eric Walters scrambling into the host's chair and mumbling an unprepared welcome to viewers. Liz Hayes chokes on her breakfast, they scramble to get ready, rush to work and bump into each other, sending scripts flying. The alarm clock then "really" sounds at 4am, the hosts get out of their beds, already dressed in their on-air attire and, smooth as clockwork, meet outside the Today studio ready for another show.
