The Damnation of Adam Blessing recorded three albums for United Artist records and an additional fourth, (under the name Glory), for Avalanch records, a subsidiary of UA.
(Excerpt from "Illusions of Justice" by Ray Benich c2012)
During the golden years of the Cleveland music scene, (late 60's early 70's) the musicians union had a strangle hold on the northeast Ohio music scene. Some of the players complained, but in reality, this is at least in part, exactly why so many great players came up in that period. Joe Walsh, (Eagles, James Gang), Eric Carmen, Benny Orr, Neil Giraldo and a whole lot more, were able to earn a respectable living playing in the local clubs. That allowed a lot of cats to really hone their chops. The Damnation of Adam Blessing, ranging in age from 17, (bass player Ray Benich, to 24, guitarist Jim Quinn) were very much a part of this scene.
Damnation of Adam Blessing perform here at the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame, reunited for the first time in 28 years, (September 27, 2000). If this band would have had a fifth album, this song, "Rock N' Roll Blue" would have been the first "single" from that album.
