  • Great advice, but what do you do when your opponent grabs you with both hands at the same time?

  • I enjoy your vids, i think the “baseball grip” on the wrist works better to strip a collar grip and its less fiddly too “as taught by Marcelo Garcia” :)

  • @HDMovieScenes A chop is simply that, a chop. If it is done "specifically" to prevent or escape your opponent's grip, it should be fine. Obviously you can't just whack your opponent across the arm for any other reason.

  • is the chop at 2:30 considered a strike?

  • This a good tech for those guys who don't have a lot of skill but they just hold for dear life and try to pass your guard lol these are the best grappling clips on the net!

  • He changed my approach on what my mentality should be when I roll around and I don't even use a gi. Great teacher

  • @jimbo007777 Everyone wins and loses.

  • Gi is very important in a real life situation. I mean lets say that a guy has a big coat on or a hoodie on the street. Those grips and chokes that you learned with Gi will come in handy. Even a long sleeve shirt can be useful in a real fight if you practice with the Gi. I need more Gi practice myself - but trust me it is useful.

  • This is as good as gold, thank you very much!

  • I prefer your non-gi videos :)
