When men were men.Looking around at the youth of today..were fucked.

because we're americans thats why, any country would make videos to honor their soldiers. you don't see something like south korea or france making videos to honor american soldiers even though we fought and died to liberate their countries. don't forget america did fight a two front war, one in europe and one in the pacific so you can't really say other countries fought harder.

@ContinentalPatriot okay that is a load of shit... do some research the western battles were way harder to get through and also the only reason you think the eastern front was alot tougher is due to the fact there were way more countries involves which in turn means more casualties.. seriously do some research casualties dont mean everything in statistics of a battle you have to look at the whole thing.. hence the equipment involved number of soldiers etc etc

@kaychi 2 fronts yes. Im an american and i support us but lets be serious. The western front was a joke compared to the Eastern Front with the Russians, the hardest fought battles of ww2 were on the eastern front. Then the pacific.

Back in the day I served with the 101st Airborne (Air Assault) Division for 4yrs. I was a Huey Helicopter crew chief, and I loved my job. I am 63yrs old, and I have never felt closer to any human being than I felt, and still feel for the men in my Company. Thank you for this wonderful tribute. Stand up, Buckle up, Shuffle to the door...WINGS OF THE EAGLE!

i have a comment to the description 506 was NOT infantry but airborne

@atlronaldodrengen620
It was the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment (PIR).
Today, they are just known as the 506th Infantry, because they aren't technically airborne anymore.
