Try a sawvivor for your folding saw, refrence nutnfancy on youtube he can point you in the right direction.

i use a kukri when i go out camping and it works better than any hatchet or axe that i have used so far. fast, easy to use, and very effective. i use it for everything, shelter, fire, food, and anything that needs a sharp blade

Gerber folding saw is not to pricey around $24 or so

ray mears uses a laplander and they are only £22 or something like that

I like the Gerber slide saw. It runs about $15 and cuts like a machine.

I've used for years a really cheap folding saw, and just changed when it broke. at the moment I use a Felco 600. It's a very good saw, that costs 32$. In my Felco video you can see my former saw, which was a good one for the price (3.50$). Have you found a good saw for now?

Yah I got a nice 17", though the label had worn off long ago, A bit to large to pack out. But I definatly helps!
