A Lasercraft, Inc. maintenance van sits in the parking lot at 9250 Bendix Road Columbia, MD. This is at a Howard County Maryland government building where their offices are housed.

In Maryland you MUST display frontal license plates properly.

FAILURE TO DISPLAY TAB ON PLATES OF VEH AS REQUIRED BY ADMIN specifies that all the information has to be viewable from the front of the car.

FAILURE TO ATTACH PLATES TO FRONT AND REAR OF VEHICLE specifies that it has to be attached to the front of the car.

FAILURE TO PROPERLY MAINTAIN/ FASTEN/POSITION VISIBLE PLATE must attach to outermost part of the front of the car.

So Mr. goody two shoes lawbreak-information gatherer...YOU'RE THE ONE BREAKING THE LAW NOW! And we caught 'ya...on camera! Doesn't it suck when the tables are turned on 'ya?

The government better issue Lasercraft, Inc. a fine (perhaps payable to Vigilantes TV since we caught them?) or else!

  • Is it breaking the law if the vehicle is parked, at a government facility no less? For all we know it's not in use because it's missing a plate.

(FWIW, I'm pretty sure a different company is contracted in Baltimore.)

Search for crash footage (there's plenty); I, for one, am glad knowing that if one day I'm t-boned by someone who isn't paying attention/is in too big a hurry to stop it might be caught on camera. Cops can't be everywhere all the time. I'm just sayin...

  • The facility was tracked down by the address given on a ticket received in Baltimore County. If you know of a different company please let me know.

The van was making crackling noises IIRC when we first walked by it. In other words, the van had just been parked and the engine was cooling down. So it was in use/the tag was on the dashboard.

Agreed on t-boning but as proven by studies cameras do not significantly decrease accidents @ intersections, It actually increases rear-end collisions.
