In 1996, a group of 5 teenage scouts and 3 adult guides hiked into the Grand Canyon during a heat wave. As their water runs out and the older members collapse in exhaustion, 3 of the teenagers set out on their own to reach the Colorado River.
They make sure not to mention the LDS church on this one, because scouts getting killed is highly prevalent amongst the LDS scouts. There are several various theories on that. They follow there own scout system. The scouts have much less experience when performing more advanced excursions and more notably the scout leaders don't possess the same levels of experience in comparison. The scout leaders are chosen by the bishop, rather then volunteering for such positions.
poor boy, but why did they get into such a crazy thing??
my opinionis is that if u dont take care of ur plans and choices with realism and rationality step by step u get necessarily into troubles out of any control
I could never do what they did, i took a walk in the summer, wjich my summer F. reaches up to 99 degrees farenheight and i got heartburn. Wow, i better take better care of myself xD
What a bunch of retards, I'm an avid mountain climber and hiker and if it was that hot during the day they should have only traveled at night...pure retards.

@LPSrules80138 Obviously not, but I'd take my chances with complete darkness rather then travel in 115 degree heat with no water.

@Lone2011Wolf Do you think they would get to the bottom and back up before the sun came up? And they would be traveling in complete darkness.
