You guys do know this is from a movie where the whale takes revenge and kills a bunch of people. Its essentially Jaws except the whale is only after one particular person.

@CIVIC170 I may have mistaken, according to wikipedia they used a trained orca to shoot the sequence. The dummy orca just looks a bit too lifelike to be fake. Remember in 70's Jaws the special effects never gave the illusion of anything but robotics.

@CIVIC170 Yes I did. They killed the baby orca in order to do that movie. It was no movie prop being dragged in the water. They knew this would happen if they shot the calf and indeed an excellent footage was made.

@tigerprincess1986 Actually it is his mate. She was harpooned by accident while trying to get the male. Its from the movie Orca.
