Hang Gliding at Dunlap, California

We were hoping for an epic weekend at Dunlap, CA but turned out to be just an ordinary day. We were scratching most of the time trying to stay at least at launch altitude, 2,200 feet AGL. Still a great place to fly. My memory card filled up way before landing.

Estavamos esperando um final de semana epico em Dunlap, California mas as condicoes de voo nao se confirmaram e acabamos tendo um dia ordinario. Fizemos um voo baixo bem proximo a montanha tentando salvar um possivel voo prego e mantivemos pelo menos a mesma altitude da decolagem na maioria do tempo, mais ou menos 700 metros de altura. Dunlap eh um lugar muito bonito. A memoria da minha maquina encheu antes do pouso.

Hi, I enjoyed your video. The last time I flew a Hang Glider at Dunlap, about 22 years ago, the main LZ was a field behind a baseball diamond. I'm curious about the general history of this flying site since my flight. For example, the location of the new LZ relative to the place I landed. I don't remember allot of detail except that the ramp that I launched from was broken and old. The one you launched off of looks new.
