Back then there were plenty of magazines & newspapers where women could read up on him. He was an 80's heartthrob. Also, was people magazines 'Sexiest Man Alive' in 1986. Entertainment Tonight has been around since 1981. He also did a bunch of Coors commercials in the mid 80's as well. There were was plenty of Mark to watch...read about =)

@drawingqueen1 That is fair. However (I am not sure how old you are but) woman first starting finding him sexy when he was in "St Elsewhere" & that character was a cad too. And that was before the Internet, Entertainment Tonight & all the other shows where woman could see "how charming he is". So there must be an intangible because I have never seen someone, other than MH, where EVERY woman finds him sexy. Other guys, some woman like them, some woman don't. With him it is every woman.

Lol, uh...his charm and smile. When I first heard of Mark Harmon I didn't think was sexy, I thought he was attractive though. As I read up on him and watched interviews ect, that's when he became sexy (IMO). When YOU hear/read people commenting on his sexy looks, they probably have seen the film before and even his other works. I don't think they say he's sexy at first sight...some might though.

What makes him so sexy is his attractive personality. Who he is as a person Is a big factor to why so many women love him. He's a complete genuine gentleman. Has great morals and values. He's a very modest & humble person...no ego! Very kind & thoughtful towards the guest stars on NCIS. He's a team player. He always is giving the credit to a group of people,not just himself. Also has a tremendous work ethic & big heart. NEVER have read, heard or watched ANYTHING bad about Harmon.
