- awesome Type II creative jamming in "Piper", leading to the only stand-alone "Weekapaug Groove" ever played (reference: phish.net).
The segue into "Weekapaug" brings a nice closure to the "Mike's Song" played the previous night, a kinda two-night, ten song "Mike's Sandwich" -- an eleven song sandwich counting the encore. A big sandwich indeed with lots of layers & toppings.
- The ultimate "Phish Sandwich" though has to be the Clifford Ball/Great Went "Harpua"; a delicious epic one made up of a whole year of great Phish music.

alot of people knock on '03... i wanna do it again. it was probably the last year phish really went out & explored. it was dark, dirty and a new sound over the tour... they set out to push the limits and there are some great things in 2003. This being one of them.
