Introducing the Washington Squares: Lauren Agnelli, Tom Goodkind, Bruce Paskow with Jeff Berman on percussion. This Fox TV segment of PM Magazine was taped on location at the now defunct Folk City in Greenwich Village. includes an introduction to one of the "hottest male models in the country" Scott Brown - now a U.S. Senator from the state of Massachusetts.
Ah, I still have this on VHS, taped off the tv!

"Daylight" is still one of the best songs ever. I was sorry to hear that one of the members passed away. A great loss to music

My Nervous Rex album is one of my most prized possessions IMO, they were one of the best undiscovered bands of the new wave era. I spent many a night spinning their songs at the local dive. Ah, memories.

Hearning that snippet of "New Generation" again after all these years brought tears to my eyes. We need a group like the Washington Squares now more than ever. Thank you for posting this.

Tremendous! Could Lauren's beret be any larger? She could balance a pizza on that. Seriously, these vintage Squares clips are the most. Let's get the New Generation promo film up here next, and the Joan Rivers live performance of Can't Stop the Rain, and the VH-1 live stuff!
