Der Übersetzter war meines wissens nach Horst König weil Peter es damals als höfflich empfand ein Lied in der Sprache zu singen in dem er auftrat und Deutschland war für ihn damals wie eine 2te Heimat was den Plattenverkauf anging - und somit enstanden damals 2 deutsche alben

Yep, Album Nummer 3+4 gibts komplett auf deutsch...für fans ein muss, für sammler ein nettes gimmick, aber nur die englischen Originalversionen sind wirklich bewegend...
hier gefällt mir am besten wie er Spalier sagt :D

Good god the first time i have heard him sing in german. Just great that he did that. No matter that it sounds not really good but its a great experience.

Someone not speaking german shouldn't sing german. sounds awful :D just the same thing with english :D
but he is still one of my favourites.. but more in english :D

:-) His German sounds sooo cute. :D At least they translated this song better than Shock the Monkey. Or should I say Schock den Affen? Well anyway the German Shock the Monkey was even weirder than the English one. It didn't make much sense at all. But I think it's cool that he did it. And as I said his German sounds cool. :D Not perfect, but that's what makes it so great.
