@ApolloWasReal Jarrah corrects his mistake in a later video, even then... propagandists like yourself and others, only focus on his honestly made mistake in the first place and total ignore the fact that he indeed corrected it. Have you ever see Jarrah attack the mistakes from propagandists and based his entire argument out from it? because there is plenty of them! Jay Windley, Phil Plait, and Astrobrant are only some of them. BTW 2.3 GHZ IS 2300 MHZ, i have a brother who making antennas

Great Video JW.

Oh dear me... I never got this fair into this series, as I could not stop laughing about Jarrah's understanding of oxidation. I have to go and lie down on my 200 cm bed.... oh wait, it's 2m long, not 200 cm...
-
@DrBuzz0 You're absolutely right, he's UTTERLY clueless.
Most people who make such stupid mistakes that belie their complete ignorance of a subject would stop and read up on the subject before making an even bigger fool of themselves to the world. But not Jarrah White. He has made HUNDREDS of videos just like these.
The man has absolutely no shame. He lacks the emotions that would stop normal people from spewing uninformed garbage like this.
-
At 4:40 Jarrah says "However, this dish only picked up frequencies of 2300 MHz, not 2 GHz as the Apollo spacecraft had used."
This is so stupid that my head physically hurts to hear it. First of all, 2300 MHz is 2.3 GHz. And the Apollo spacecraft all transmitted on various channels immediately below 2300 MHz (2.3 GHz). So 2.3 GHz/2300 MHz is closer than 2 GHz.
Geez. Jarrah, any ordinary person who repeatedly makes such stupid mistakes would stop and read up on things. But not you.
-
@Focoist911 lol could you really do that ?
-
Jarrah wins yet again.
The illuminati and their lies have been thoroughly debunked!
-
You could be right Baloney. I am not going to pretend to be informed on this.
I just don't believe they actually put men on the moon. Why? Because the Russians should have followed them soon enough and they didn't. And during a cold war that was way too much investment on a non-military usable space technology.
-
Any descently equipped radio telescope or reception station would have been able to receive more than a single frequency. When they say "two gigahertz" they just mean the band - not that the frequency was right on the nose of 2.0 ghz. It's like if you get a "900 mhz" phone - it doesn't actually operate at 900 mhz - it probably operates on 905.78 mhz or something. It's an approximation
The LM S-band system was actually set to 2282.5 mhz (center carrier frequency)
This guy is clueless
-
Focodork911 - "The UK scope ONLY picked up 2300Hz. No?"
ONLY? See, this is why you're a hoaxtard - JW inserts the word ONLY, even though the document he's 'reading' from (at 4:40 ) DOESN'T say that.
Then you suck up his "2000Mhz" value for apollo that he plucks from a PRESS GUIDE (in part 9) - when the actual APOLLO MANUAL gives a value of 2287.5Mhz for CSM to MSFM communications.
So unlike JW's lies - Jodrell Bank's info was right on the money.
Tell me more about those MEGABYTES.
-
You are the one who failed to make your point. You are the one who started splitting hairs. 2Ghz is 2000MHz. The UK scope only picked up 2300Hz. No? Isn't that his argument? So what is your point then?
His argument is that Apollo only transmitted at 2000MHz.
Listen dork, everyone knows they faked the Apollo. You only have to see all the cables hanging off the Astronauts to know that.
-
Hey you're the retard who claimed that "anyone who has a computer knows that 1Gb = 1000Mb"
1012 is closer than 1000 in binary system punk. Dont get smart with me or I will lose my temper and spend 3 days tracing you and hack your network.
-
Focoist - here's how hoaxagandists like JW make suckers out of hoaxtards like you -
@ 9:00 - JW shows the page of a book and then quickly scrolls down like the quote's in the book but replaces it with text that is clearly not the same.
Then at 9:29 he shows an actual copy of an e-mail response that refutes his earlier book insertion switcheroo.
Finally at 10:20 he offers them both up as an 'either/or' on equal footing even though one is bogus and the other clearly documented.
-
Focoist911 - "Its based on binary system you moron. 1Gb = 1012 Mb"
I love it when a hoaxtard gets so wrapped up in his own bullshit that he can't even count his own balls and get the same number twice in a row.
1binaryGb = 1024Mb - not 1012 you dolt
The binary kilo - mega - and giga are equivalent to 2^10 - 2^20 - and 2^30 respectively - DO THE MATH BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR FAT TRAP, ASS.
I think this is where you slap your forehead and say - DOH!
-
@Fascist911 - "And thinks that a telescope which ¿ONLY? picks up transmissions at 2300Mhz and therefore pick up transmissions at 2000Mhz?"
See, this idiotic statement seals the deal over your obvious scientific illiteracy. These dish anntenas can pick-up a wide spectrum of wavelengths and need only adjust the receiver to select the desired frequency.
Heck, even a significant number of HAM radio operators were able to receive at this freq and listen in - you pathetic windbag.
-
"Especially when the point is made in reference to Radio Frequency, which is not binary, which makes your rediculous tilt at the windmill all the more moot."
Hey you are the one who said it not me o.k.? Now you are trying to deflect the blame on me for merely pointing out how geekless you are.
-
When we are all trying to geek it here buddy you made a big poo poo. You need to apoligise.
And by the way, your point over it was wrong to. You attacked JW with the accusation that the UK telescope only received 2300MHz. Now Apollo transmitted 2000Meg.
So I am interested to know how specific such a tele needs to be and why the Russians didn't have one - DOes the scope need to be bult EXACTLY physically to receive just a specific MhZ?
-
Foco - "Am I a liar"
You ARE a liar because NOBODY but the most hopeless of geektards means 1024Mb when they say 1Gb anymore. The distinction is not even enough to bother with anymore.
Especially when the point is made in reference to Radio Frequency, which is not binary, which makes your rediculous tilt at the windmill all the more moot.
The issue is Mega vs. Giga - not binary vs. decimal you witless fool.
-
The funnier part was that after this he claimed that a telescope receiving 2300MHz could receive a frequency of 2000MHz. lol. MAn it even makes me sick. I will go and vomit tonight after reading the shit you people spew.
-
I dont think anyone reads you anymore., Am I a liar or did you say, "Anyone who has a computer knows that 1Gb =1000Mb?" - am I a liar?:
-
Looks like Focoist911 is gunning for the title of "Chief HairSplitter for the Hoaxtard Movement"
The video is talking about radio frequency, but he ends up trying to give a lesson on binary numbers - LOL.
Was he trying to obfuscate the issue or just trying desperately to be right about something?
-
Wow, after your idiotic faceplant, you try to back out by saying "I was talking about binary" - all that means is that in binary, a 'Giga' is 1024 times a 'Mega', not just 1000.
So how does that monumental fact make Jarrah White's statement any less of a lie or make you any less of idiotic hoaxtard who will focus on some pathetic crumb of minutia when you didn't even understand the original point of contention - which is that its wrong to make 2000Mhz sound completely different from 2Ghz.
-
"1000Mega-anything = 1Giga-anything just like there are 1000 Millions in a Billion."
You sound like you never heard of the binary number system.
Go back to thumb sucking. I am amazed I had to return here to SPELL IT OUT TO YOU and see all these Apollo Huggers defending your claim that 1000Mb = 1Gb.
That says alot about the lack of education amongst the Apollo Huggers.
-
"scientifically illiterate BS about Apollo."
Says the guy who claims arrogantly that "anyone who uses a computer knows that 1000Mb = 1 Gb?
And thinks that a telescope which only picks up transmissions at 2300Mhz and therefore pick up transmissions at 2000Mhz?
Absolute moron jew you are.
