  • The Queen of Rock n Roll shows them how it is done . Dinah and Brenda both had great rhythm. Brenda dancing and singing rockabilly. it does not get any better.

  • @mrgbennet

Queen of rock and roll? Hmmmmmm, not sure about that!

  • Who would you suggest ?

  • @mrgbennet MS Lee is certainly talented, but was way more country than rock...I'd think Tina Turner or someone of that nature would qualify better than MS Lee for such a title.

  • wonderful, thank you for sharing, Brenda Battle Jordan.

  • Love watching this over and over. Brenda Lee had a special quality and uniqueness that noone else could ever capture. That's probably why some consider her the 'Queen of Rock'.

  • Queen and King of Rock n' roll? Granted, rockabilly had Hank Williams, the original Jimmy Rodgers thereabouts, Carl Perkins and, as well, Elvis Presley. In the UK there was skiffle. Not known to many Americans, evidently. Somewhat of a parallel, one could think. With the likes of Jimmy Page, Robin Trower, Roger Daltry, Van Morrison, Ritchie Blackmore, Mick Jagger, David Gilmore, Graham Nash & John Lennon. Does that mean they're any the less when it comes to rock n' roll?

  • makesme wanna cry. talent absolutely, but exploitedso young

  • Dynamite!

  • @VideosTimes2 Nope--I never heard it until the Bar Family box came out
