I've never seen an ad from a big political party being such of a low intelligence, based on fear and ignorance. If this ad was aired in any other developed country,it would have been considered as a gross joke.

Your right we must support the party that put slavery into the constitution, fought to keep slavery in the US before the Civil War, cheered for the Dred Scott decision, Fought for Slavery through the Civil War, Founded the KKK, Wrote the Jim Crow laws, Set up the Poll Tax, voted against the civil rights laws, setup a system of welfare that destroyed the black family. We must support this party no matter what.

None of that old school shit matters Dems represented conservative xenophobic leaning then but made the switch towards liberalism during the Kennedy/Johnson era("Great Society anyone")

The most conservative dems jumped ship to join the newly conservative "Southern Strategy" focused republican party and the lines have been pretty damn stable ever since.

It would be extremely ignorant to base your judgment of the parties today based solely off what they did decades or centuries ago

KKK members continue to fill the ranks of Dems with R. Byrd at the top.
The near Lynching of Clarence Tomas.
That "Great Society" really worked out well for Black families with trading a father for a welfare check.

When you see no change in the racism of the Dem party in putting up a raciest and sexist for the Supreme Court.

I really think that this is a racist ad. You ever hear them say, "He's just not right." about white candidates.

Forget about Slavery and the 1860's for a minute. What about the 1960's? It's pretty much the same republican party then as it is now. Same bases, in some small cases (or up till recently) same exact politicians. Those REPUBLICANS WANTED SEGREGATION!

I know you guys tend to hate it, but FACTS ARE FACTS! Deal with it

I'm not saying all present day conservatives or a majority are racist. I'm certainly not saying YOU are racist. However, when it comes to social issues, it's an absolute historical FACT that those who identify themselves as "Conservatives" people who want to keep tradition bad or good, have been involed in the negative side of social issues.
