what i cannot understand if the courts ruled that same-sex coupels had a constitutional right to get married, how could they then say the vote was valid, was it just the way it was presented in court, wouldnt the earlier ruling set a precedent?

[Updated at 3:49 p.m. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today told a federal court that his office remains neutral in the legal battle over whether Proposition 8 violates the U.S. Constitution.]
Just as a factual aside, saying something MAY be unconstitutional does not mean one AGREES that something IS unconstitutional. Also, there's already been a court ruling on this matter once.
On a personal note, could you say EVERYBODY a few more times, I don't think I heard you very well.
