I have the Liverpool Five's 45rpm of this song and it is one of my all time favorites . The vocals are so far superior to the Troggs and yes their recording was first and I just found it on You Tube.

@MsLoosylou I first found that LP5 version on " Nuggets from the Liverpool Five ( Part 2)" on You Tube a year or so ago. Just now following your tip I found it on its own and the chick there is pretty athletic. I like their soulful approach too.
