MVA AVE L E.12 ST- HAS 1 UNDER FOR DWI

A serious car accident involving 4 cars on Ave L and E. 12 St had multiple patients taken to the hospital via Hatzoloh volunteer ambulance company.

At Apx 1:30 AM two cars going west bound ran a red light at high speed. Witnesses told me the cars clearly ran a red light at high speed and appeared to be drag racing.

A motorist traveling south bound on E.12 St got hit (T boned) on the drivers side and spun around while one of the two cars that ran the red light hit two parked cars.

One of the motorists left the scene of the accident and then came back and according to witnesses took off when the driver saw police heading in. The second driver also left the scene and came back and was arrested for DUI by the 70 th PCt.

A pregnant woman in her fifth month was rushed in serious condition by Hatzoloh after going into seizures while two other patients were taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
