@5393BUBBA, I can imagine that for dads, it sometimes must be so hard to stay, when things are rough or poor or scary. And the rewards are so ephemerally in the FUTURE, a future dads must dread. But the rewards are concrete, and cemented down a little every day. As a mom, I can't really claim to know what men think, but I can guarantee that when you see your child treat his own children with kindness and wisdom, it's fucking worth it. WORTH IT.

im about to go into the military haven't talked to him in years......i dont miss him, i just feel the need for a real father. i just need support but my deadline to cry is up i just have to boot up and leave never to turn back....only thing that scares me is becoming him probably reason i wont have kids..

I just got back from burying my father today, who passed away yesterday. Yes he left me when I was young, and also gave me his same name, but I was able to see him this past month and a half when he told me he was diagnosed with cancer. In his last days he asked me to forgive him for leaving me, to which I told him that I had forgiven him long ago. During these last few weeks, I grew to love him, and even though I only have a few memories of him, I will never forget him, Te amo padre mio!!!
