A quick demo to show how the Tonetable app and Virtual DJ work together. I'm holding the ipod in one hand and my camera phone in the other, so cut me some slack please.

  • @miguel4811 Thanks for the lesson Miguel! I'm glad you took a few minutes from your job of defending the internet to address my paraphrasing problems. The next time I post a video, I'll take a few extra seconds & review my use of terminology before posting (I wouldn't want to look foolish).

Thanks and have a great day!!

  • hey

  • what is the name of your app?

  • what virtual dj are you using on your computer

  • o i got it but when i did it it only went in 1 direction like i couldnt do a backspin only forward and it kept pauseing after 3 secnds any advice

  • @MixMasterMohan For this video, I just used a regular headphone cord (1/4 double male) out from my ipod and plugged it right into my PC using the audio in. The cord was $6. There are settings in VDJ to play with. Sorry I'm not more help. I never really used the app and VDJ, I just wanted to see if it worked.

  • how do u hookbthem up and do u need a mixer or soundcard

  • thats pretty slick!!

  • Works Good. Purchased and works fine with my SERATO SCRATCH LIVE V.1.9.2

If you purchase Maya-44 sound card interface (under $100.00) and have a DJ mixer already and get virtual.

( If you don't money for a fancy turntable or cd decks. ) DJ I don't see why as a cheap way a person can do this. All you need is one ITOUCH to mix two tracks cuz tha program can switch from deck a to deck b when you have only one source.
