Young singer/songwriter Matthew Santos reveals a soulful voice unlike any other in popular music. With seemingly endless versatility, his distinctive sound is emotionally complex, delicate and lyrically profound. Santos' continues to seduce music-lovers of all ages as a true artist before his time.

He was recently featured on the song "American Terrorist" from Lupe Fiasco's 3 time Grammy nominated, debut album Food 'N Liquor under First and Fifteenth/Atlantic Records and performed live with him at his Chicago CD Release party at the Metro.

Santos has also played with the infamous blues legend/activist Reverend Goat of New Orleans and has opened up for jazz legend Dr. John for the acclaimed New Orleans Musicians Relief Fund at The Black Orchid.

  • Got to meet him in Austin. Drove up from Houston just so me and my wife could see him (drove back that same night). He was very nice...took pics with my wife and signed cds. Hopefully he comes to Houston or nearby town again...willing to drive again just to see him. 

  • This man has complete range from High to Low...so much talent and such much soul. This is the type of music that changes your life.

  • matthew santos is fantastic. i've been a fan for a while.. his style is so earthy and unique, so soulful! i wiiiish he'd come somewhere close to me and perform.. toronto would be close enough!

  • Ohhhhhh, he's amazing. I'd never heard of him till Lupe Fiasco, but that's a shame. There's something about this song that's very soulful.

  • his vocal range is amazing seeing that he can sing that low.. and he can also sing in a higher ocvtave as he did in "superstar' with lupe fiasco
