Mr. Harris has admitted, even whilst that roll was going on, that he could not hold a candle to Joe skillwise. I recall after the 4th pass or so, Mr. Harris exclaimed "well this sucks." This comes from a man whos skill I can only dream of achieving the equivalency of. Joe is a monster, one that slaughters it's victims in slow motion. That being said, I do think I overexclaimed a bit with that remark, Mr. Harris is not choosing to avoid dominating, he is being dominated in this video.

No offense, but this is not a friendly sparring match.
This is part of Roy's test to 4th degree black belt.
I have a belt under Roy Harris and when you are doing technique, you are looking at proper technique. This is not technique time
When you are sparring, you are looking to dominate. The problem is, when you are taking the test, they wear you out to the point of utter exhaustion... so your fighting with no cardio. You have to practice your proper technique while you are DEAD TIRED :)
