I like this detailed explanation about Ryanair. It made me learn more about the early history of the airline from a small minor airline to one of Europe's largest airlines with over 200 aircraft and over 1100 routes!

O'Leary has made air travel accessible for the working classes. For that alone, he deserves many of the kudos. The Imperial College Management Course made this video for a purpose: to explain how the low fares model works. Key statistic is that average Easyjey fare is Euro 66 (as opposed to Euro 44 for Ryanair).

Why not? His management style means he runs a very profitable company for its shareholders and he has single handedly reduced the cost of flying for the general public through lower fares. How can this be a bad thing?
