Claire Oelkers from the Youth Task Force

Multi-talented, ambitious Claire Oelkers landed her first acting roles after winning a talent contest when she was 15, and has since appeared regularly in German TV series and movies. Despite knowing full well that she was too young to be picked, Claire first auditioned for MTV when she was 16. Between then and being called upon to moderate MTV Germanys popular chart show TRL in 2007, she continued acting and become lead singer of one of Germanys most successful newcomer bands of the last few year, Karpatenhund.

Karpatenhund has had number one hits on both the campus and peoples choice charts. Their second album, called Der Name dieser Band ist Karpatenhund (which we are sure you dont need us to translate) is about to be released!
