Hey can u stream live or make an internet radio using this leopard server? I heard that quicktime streaming server and quicktime broadcaster which are included in the Leopard server can make this possible, but I'm not sure about this; also if this works, I'd like to know if u can embed a code into a Myspace page (profile 2.0)...Thanks

i want to know how the hell they have 10.5 server running on vmware fusion mac ver. i have been trying for the last 3 days. FAIL each time. tried booting to images, cd and even installed 10.5 server on a partion to see if i could import it! still failed, any ideas?

$949 is not expensive for a laptop. there are also refurbished and used laptops/desktops you can get for a lot cheaper.

That's great that you got this to work. So when will ESX server be certified on Mac Server Hardware so you can run Mac desktops virtually, or if I have developers that want to try software on a Mac, they can run a virtual instance of Mac OS X desktop in a VM with out violating the EULA.

You can do that today with VMware Fusion. Just run it on the Xserve, and run the Mac OS X VMs on Fusion...

I'm aware of running VM off a pen drive that the limited write cycle would be a potential problem.

That's true. They are demonstrating how you can pull a VM from one physical machine by simply moving it via thumb drive. You could do the same on a network share or DVD-R, if you wanted.
