As if yous have ever used ubuntu. Quick and easy install, pretty much a Windows version of Linux. What about Mint or OpenSuSe? Piece of cake. I use Arch Linux, that's the one you actually need to configure. But I'm okay with that, because I'd rather install X myself than being forced to use it.

since when was linux getting flamed like this... also did we end up with dumb-downed users from over-mac exposure, so what used to be common PC knowledge, they now consider too nerdy to understand? ;) lol

ive also never had problems with drivers or freezing from swapping vid cards in windows; save for new launches. *shrugs* whatever. im still perfectly content using computers for grownups ;)

@cake for servers running cheap mmos yeah. when it comes to security yeah, but when it comes to quick & easy install, when it comes to having to recode drivers because you built a new computer, when it comes to playing games even with wine, when it comes to its glitchy and or delicate nature and time to fix the most rudimentary problems not so much. when telling someone they don't know about computers and to do their research make sure they aren't experienced professional computer technicians.

@cakelover33 guess again I have four different version of linux. Like I said linux has some ups but not enough to "own" anything. I am sorry but contribution does not = own. mac contributed firewire but seriously how many fucking people use it?
