Why should we repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"?

@jrh2os Gay males are typically more promiscuous (sp?) than straight males-just look at their bath house culture and average number of lifetime sexual partners vs straights. And you do not have to be in the military to realize this would be a problem.

@jrh2os Ask someone who has chosen to be gay. I'd say many guys choose it because gays tend to have problems controling sexual urges and decide other guys who are the same way is the easiest way to fulfill them. A major reason why gays should be banned from military period. We don't need one soldier sizing up others in his platoon.

Okay.... have any of u who want this policy to be repealed actually fuckin thought about it? seriously, i am a male nd i am not gay, i am waiting to go to bootcamp here in a month. i for one don't want to be taking a shower with a gay guy staring at me. nd don't say they wudn't cuz u r there for 9 weeks so everyone will most likely have sexual tension. besides how many of u gays r actually thinking about joining the military. don't vote for something if its keeping u from doing wht u wna do

Ah, the typical reply from those who think it is not a choice.

I choose to be straight. We are born straight. Some people choose to be homosexual. I find homosexuality immoral and disgusting. However, it is a free country so if you choose that life you choose that life.

People choose who they go to bed with. The only peole practicing homosexuality not by choice would be those forced, in prison for example.

Or do people say, "I had no choice but to go home with another guy.?"
