A short video about our journey to Manhattan, NY.
We visited the historical places where the Stonewall riots took place in '69:
the first time in American history that people in the homosexual community
fought against a government-sponsored system that persecuted sexual minorities
becoming the defining event that marked the start of the gay rights movement
in the United States and around the world.
While we were there we come across a No War demonstration led by old veterans from the
Vietnam War. The same day we are informed that in our home town Rome there was a student
march against an awful reform of the education system (DDL Gelmini) that the
Italian government intends to approve.
Now, more than ever, it is necessary not to give up and to keep fighting.
