@sandiegosinger I don't know WHAT to believe anymore, where this song is concerned. For 30 years, babs has taken verbal credit for SOLE AUTHORSHIP of that song, and NO ONE refuted her. Oddly, in her recent "One NIGHT ONLY" clip, Barb says she only wrote the MUSIC. So why the change? TRUE, legally speaking, he is listed, but according to Barbra, at least up til recently, Paul williams has been a NON ISSUE. LOL .. Pardon me....Barbra wrote the MUSIC and PAUL WILLIAMS wrote the lyrics to Evergreen...Wherever this song is listed PROFESSIONALLY both are credited equally...AND FYI Paul Williams is an amazing writer and wrote MANY Carpenters songs

Confusion. For over 30 years, Barbra has claimed sole authorship for the song, Evergreen and NO ONE had refuted her claim. I'm on Barb's side. Words and Music: B. Streisand. Whoever that williams person is, he didn't have the power or the gumption to stand up to her, so, it's hers. Period.

I have found that words is easyer to sing when it's on peaper, and tv text not messing up my concentration, if on tv. try ;)
