@moussa252 Yes, he was amazing... there is something so poignant in his singing that goes straight to the soul and the heart. As a person at the time, in the 80s, he was rather shy and a bit surprised by his success. He told me he had started out with a guitar he manufactured himself and that his hero when a boy had been Bob Dylan. He made you want to hug him and protect him. I'm sure he's gained in self-assurance by now!!

@moussa252 J'ai rencontré Ismael Lo quand il a enregistré sa première version de Lote Lo, pour l'interviewer pour la radio, dans les années 80. Lote Lo était un footballeur, qui était mort. This song was written in memory of a football player whose name was Lote Lo, who died in the 80s. At least that's what Ismael Lo told me when I interviewed him for a radio show at the time.
