Founding member of the Beans and the Tubes, Bill Spooner is a dynamic, gifted performer whose 'feel for the 80's' went way beyond his relationship with the Tubes. Preferring family life and a real existence to a being a rock star, Bill has nontheless inspired two generations of garage rockers to be real with their music.
This show was performed live at the Tubes Reunion Show, April 21, 2005 at the Rio Theatre in Santa Cruz.
Cool lyrics.

I think Spooner sung I Don't Want To Wait Anymore with the Tubes. It really moved me when I saw them at E.M. Lowes in Worcester, MA in like early 1980s. Todd Rundgren's Utopia was the other band that night.
An AWESOME lineup.

this is great. some people don't know how to appreciate the real thing if it's not a candy coated mix. you can't get any better than this.

Spooner is one of my favorite song writers of all time! Thanks for posting this video. What a great song.

I'm a pretty big Tubes fan myself and I think its got a lot of heart. Stripped down and bare before the world singing about a lost comrade. Rock on Sputnik!
