they should be giving toplexil, or clarytine or any carbociteine 5% to all the spectators before they reach their seats !!!! it is blasmefa to be caughing and "gring, grong, grunging" when a star is giving her best !! this sounds like they know before doing it, i can't understand !!!

A resplendent, slender COLUMN of sound. Liquid crystal. Unequalled. Unparalleled.

It is good... there is no doubt OneGin! Hiwever, the MET 1972 (Dimngo, Cossotto Merill) & 1968 Schippers... WoW!!! Probably the greatest in this role of all times... sorry Gencer and price fans. Just the truth...

It is futile, even silly, to comment on a few flaws in this performance. She is simply magnificent, fully committed to the character, coloring her voice accordingly in the three main parts of this difficult scene. The Trovatore Leonora is fairly unidimensional (thanks to Cammarano's treatment of the García Gutiérrez play, El trovador), compared to the Forza Leonora (also based on a Spanish play by El Duque de Rivas). This role requires voice, voice, voice. Of this, she has plenty. Brava!!!
