Hospital horror for tragic tot

A criminal investigation is underway in Russia's Krasnodar region where a four-year-old boy has had his legs amputated by doctors treating an infection. His mother is blaming them for letting the boy's condition become critical.

Either way... this kid is lucky, and not everyone is lucky in countries like these. I think it's mandatory or recommended in the U.S. to get the vaccine.

This kid had meningitis. If his legs were hurting already, that means it went septic especially if it spread to his lymphnodes "tonsilitis" he's lucky, most cases die within 24-48 hrs. and some cases undergo amputation. You're lucky if they catch it on time and you're okay physically. Not all doctors will order tests on CSF basically because its invasive. It's really hard to point fingers or call them stupid doctors because really, it could be ANYTHING. And they're just going by symptoms.
