Libba Massey's acceptance speech - 2010 Distinguished Alumnus Awards

Elizabeth "Libba" Shatto Massey, a civic leader and philanthropist, accepts the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Texas Exes on Oct. 22, 2010 on the UT campus. She has served on the UT College of Education Advisory Council since 1996 and held the position of chair from 2005 to 2009. She has served on the development board of the University since 2003 and is currently serving a two-year term as its chair. Massey is also co-chair of the University of Texas Capital Campaign, which will continue through 2014, and serves as a current member of the executive committee of the Chancellors Council for the UT System.
