I would probably say Jason. Don't get me wrong Shawn Lane is very good but Jason is more diverse in my opinion.

At 0:58 when he looks up his clearly thinking "Hey God , i bet you can't play this!''

@SonicBrunoth Becker was still really young man. also He said that he really liked shawn and wanted to take lessons form him

My top guitarist in no order: Becker for his neo-classical style that would give bach a run for his money, Friedman simply because i love megadeth and Hangar 18 has the best solo in metal ever, Govan because of his diversity And improv prowess , Jarzombek for his twelve tone tonal while atonal at the same time method and Paul Waggoner for his overall note choice while composing

1:12 from what movement of 25th symph is this from? sounds really cool.

Always reminds me of "Amadeus", for obvious reasons.

@westjt17 Lane got influence on Indian music, that is Fusion naturally xD
-
@SonicBrunoth also japanese scales, which he learned from friedman and music that i have no idea where it cam from like in "electric prayer for peace"

@proteoid Anyway, let's agree that if you asked both of them about each other, they would probably say the other was better.
Is there any tabs for this anywhere?
