Ubuntu Linux 7.04 (Feisty Fawn) + Beryl + ATi Radeon

In this Video you can see my first attempt to use the window-Manager "beryl" with my fresh installation of Ubuntu 7.04 (feisty fawn) ... it's pretty easy to activate if you considering that I've an ATi Radeon X850 graphics card ... it's running out-of-the-box =)

I have a problem, I have done the ati driver instalation a thousand ways and when it should work my screen just stays black and dont show anything I have an X800GTO and ubuntu 8.04 as well as a pentium d 3.2 processor

so..do you have issues in divX playback?

I have a laptop with a RadeonMobile X2300 and the divx vids looks crap, pixelized, because ATI restricted drivers dont allow to use Xvideo ..

its the big letdown of linux in my laptop..because everything else works fine (didnt tried games yet)

dude i also am lookin for some install vids, all the crap on the net (dierections seem to screw up my x server) anywhoo i know if you google install beryle unbuntu you will find alot of install procedures but i think a vid would be betta.

I download it from ati official page, there you find click on download drivers, I use Ubuntu too.
