As good as this was, this was at Mile High Stadium, where all the kicking records are set. Anybody can set a kicking record there.

Kicking in the altitude that Denver has is much easier and the ball will go farther....however...let's not take any credit from Janikowski....his leg is an absolute monster.

@6400az i know about tragectory now if it were shorter he coulda hit it off the line higher but it wasnt, it was blocked do to its lowness nd still had enough power behing it to make it to the endzone

If it would have been a shorter kick, chances are no one would've gotten their hands on it.
It's much more difficult if they're trying to block it. You have to get the ball up right away, that takes distance away from the kick.

@6400az 70-75 yard feild goal is not easy weather its being blocked or not, nd in the lions game towards the end of this last season he attempted a 65 yard field tht did get blocked but still had the distance to make it to the endzone, if suh ddnt get a hand on it im positive he would have made it
