It's been a long time, comrade.
The Inquisitor, a large combat robot from 'Strife', faces off against the most heavily armed (and armored) minion that the Combine has to offer; the Royal Combine Soldier. Heavy battle robot versus a converted subservient human. Who will win?
Well, the Inquisitor for starters has 9500 HP, which is pretty damn high. He fires heavy duty grenades, a red beam or whatever it is that disperses in a wide area, dealing at least 60 damage per hit, and has other attacks as well. He can fly, in a matter of speaking, towards his target, similar to the Hellsmith or Maulotaur. He also has a death ray, which does extreme damage. Sometimes, he drops that weapon when he bites the dust. Oh, and when he is destroyed, he explodes and can kill you, the player, if you're nearby.
The Royal Combine soldier has an odd 6521 HP, so if you thought he was going to be a walk in the park, you were wrong. The Combine extracted the fabled 'Gluon Gun', the hyperbeam weapon from Half-Life, and suited it to their needs. Suffice to say, it is even more insidious than before. This is what the Royal Combine soldier was entrusted with. He's been known to eliminate even the boss level characters quite quickly, provided he was able to get a bead on them enough times. He often drops the supped up Gluon Gun upon death, granting the player a terrific weapon.
Also, a weapon of unimaginable power can be seen in the arena, waiting to be wielded. Care to take a look?
