DLSR Crane Servo Follow Focus System for Sale

I designed and built a custom servo driven follow focus for a DSLR camera mounted to a crane. It is unique because it allows remote focusing of any DSLR camera mounted to a crane or anywhere within 6 feet of the camera. A rotating knob moves the servo wheel which is spring regulated and pressed against the camera focus dial. A poly plate behind the focus knob allows a dry eraser pen to mark follow focus points for your shots.

If you use the mike in your camera, a slight servo sound is heard. Most videographers would use a separate boom mike or do an audio dub.

@jeffgrave I know that steel is much stronger, only aluminum is much much stiffer or more rigid.

Maybe it isn't quite balanced?

satvarmac, steel has 6 times the tensile strength of aluminum. I t all depends on how it is designed. A home made crane will almost always be better than a commercial one, even if it is made out of aluminum.
