I will always mourn Tim Horton. I am convinced if he hadn't died the Sabres would have taken the Stanley from Philly in 1975. Can you imagine Bobby Clarke beating Tim Horton for the Stanley? Neither can I. Clarke doesn't measure-up to Horton. At the time Tim was 42 but could still play well enough to make Bobby Clarke pee his pants. That is the truth few have the nerve to report. The Flyers dodged a huge bullet, and the rest is history. Young Clarke was less than old Horton, end of story.
