Voelle - G Hotel Penang 2nd Annual Dinner Black White Glamourous 2009 Pole Dance Opening

This is my performance I did for G Hotel 10.11.09, I am so honored to be the opening gambit for them. Credits to Reen Quah for help with choreography. Listen to what the emcee says after my performance...lol. To be honest, I had to keep my sensuality in check here because locals are not ready for me....giggle..AND Please note that Malaysia is still an Islamic country, and I would have removed my vest to reveal a midriff top during the cross ankle release, but was advised to keep it on. 99% of people in the crowd, mostly locals of course, I believe have never seen pole dancing, let alone, know what pole dancing is, I can feel their shock and awe while I'm up there. I was inspired by the amazing Felix and her routine to Def Leppard's Rock On, so I went with the same song. Thank you G hotel for letting me open such a grand night. p.s. I have only been poling for one year. Credits to my bestie Lavaniah who is my personal pole assistant and videographer. :)

Wow, Voelle...that was TOP NOTCH. You got your performance style jsut right...bnuilding up everything nice and sloww...adding on increasingly difficult moves as the routine moved ahead. Side climb to th eknee mount was great...then you followed up with that air invert and Aysh combo. By the time you flipped out to the Tammy, the crowd was going nuts! They were totally with you! Congratulations on your show....and yes, I saw the cake pics! Wish that had been MY birthday party, LOL!
