"Say The Word" by The Classic Crime

This was a music Video I created in High School. The Cinematography is obcviously beginner, but the message is deep. This video actually is inspiring my current 16 mm Film Project called "God Is..." Which I hope to have up in a few months.

It makes me sad that a majority of the comments I recieve on this video are arguments about christianity or whether the band is christian. Weather they are or not does not matter, and whether you agree with my opinion of God does not matter... What matters is the way the video was made and intended. God is MY inspiration... not the song or this band.... but GOD is MY inspiration. U dont have to agree with my viewpoint, but plz respect me. I respect all of u, and I wont force my opinion on you.

OK let's clear this up for everyone,

They ARE a christian band, so that makes this a christian song,

but just because it's a christian band doesn't mean they sit here and praise god,

christian bands make music that has more emotion, worth and meaning,

which means yes, it's a love song,

but sung by a christian band,

and most christian bands are really good,

like RED, Creed, Falling Up, Decyfer Down, and many others.

I watched this video a couple of years ago and still today I go back to the same video. This is one of my favorite songs from Classic crime and i find you did a spectacular job on this video.. Its A+

A couple months ago for a college class project my group made a music video to "The Beginning (A Simple Seed)" by the Classic Crime. I just wanted to say you did a great job I really liked it! Don't listen to the bad comment that have nothing to do with your work itself, its not worth it! Just know you did a really good job!

What sucks about christian bands is that when they have a good song and you're getting into it, right in the middle they'l sudenly drop in a 'raise my hands up to god' or some other non-sense, taking what at first seemed like a 'deep' song and destroy my interpretation of it so that it can only be percieved as some shallow religous song. What I'm trying to say is that religion takes away the dynamic element of interpretation from a song.
