  • Great!:) I think with this piece you managed to teach me harmony.:)

  • :) Glad to hear that. Recently I'm working on dolce and legato as an essential part of the whole thing :)

  • This is GREAT!!

EXACTLY THE INTREPERTATION THAT I HAD IN MIND!

    GREAT, GREAT , GREAT!

i wish i could play this song like you! :)

btw, in my book, it`s number 8..

but that doesn`t really matter, though.

  • Thanks for the comment :)

Originally in the Russian edition it is no 8 because there is one missing etude in the middle. Other editions just put them in order, so that way it's no 7. So I chose that way as more popular (probably).

  • hmm..btw, i have some problem when i have to play the last part, last bar.. the scale part.. you play it really fast and, sounds perfect.

would you mind give me some practice tips so i could play that part like you?

because my teacher only said, "PRACTICE!" but i don`t really know how to make it sounds like that..

    thanksthanks

  • Generally, for fast scales make sure your elbows (even body) lead the hands and fingers up or down depending on the scale direction, so that fingers only will not lead the scale followed by the rest of your arms and body.

Hope that could help :) Hard to say without seeing you.

  • some days ago i cried like a baby because i realized that even though i play the piano since i was 5 and now i am 16 years old, i feel and i believe that i play like a beginer and it's so sad because i was supposed to play this piece just like that and i dont. i play it slower and i do many mistakes.the thing is that i never knew that this was the right way 2 play this piece. and now that i heard how it's supposed to be played i am like oh..i play it wrong all this time .and this is sad.:(

  • Для меня достаточно хард. Пока. Скоро будет уже изие)

  • Смотря для кого

  • Не такой уж notsohard...

  • that phone at the end - so annoying!

    still great though!

  • Good performer, but I didn't really care too much for the way you (?) interpreted the piece. I think somewhere in the beginning you added a beat in the middle of a phrase (I can't really recall where).

And to those who are talking about the two different versions, as far as I know, no 7 came first, and I'm pretty sure someone who was a student of Rachmaninoff edited it a bit and called it no 8.

  • wow

  • Not so hard piece but with a lot of lyriсs
