The only reason these underpowered engines are offered to keep the entry price low. A 3.6 should be minimum.

@Greendude33 funny thing is.. the buick is actually a rebadged german/british car called the vauxhall or opel insignia. I remember going to america recently and being surprised how many new american cars are rebadged european cars..

@adogg619 You wont See a V6! Fuel Efficiency :)

Sir you need some serious lessons on grammar. You were putting capital letters in all the wrong places. It's not that people just want speed, but a luxury car should come with better than average performance. All the while still being a solid, comfortable cruiser. This Regal doesn't achieve that, not even with the 2.0 turbo engine. That's why I said it needs a more refined motor like a V6.

@adogg619 They arent trying to build A Race Car, nor a Performance car! They are trying to make A luxury Car. The problem is, people want Speed Speed Speed Speed Speed Speed. Buy a God Damn Comaro and Shut Up, Better yet, Try a Cadillac! Buick is about Elegance and Status now, and Thank God. If you want the sport, then get out. Which is funny because I see nothing wrong with the regal though, fast enough for me.
I don't get the double standard. It was fine for BMW to put a 6 cyl making 184 horsepower in my 3 series, which was a heavy car, but it's not okay for Buick to make a 4 cyl with a 182 horsepower in a lighter car ?????? Double standard. Double standard. Shameful.
