Banned disney cartoon that creates an interesting, but to a certain extent true image of The Third Reich, for although children in many cases were brainwashed, it was much more subtle than what this cartoon suggests. Still interesting though.
The propagandic edge is bothersome, but I agree that it's interesting. And it is true that most Nazis were conditioned from childhood to do what they did.
Well, to a certain degree, since the Nazi party was in charge since 1933, and the war started 1939. It was many factors that led to their succes, mostly their charismatic leader's speeches combined with a view that many shared; That they had been backstabbed in WW1 and that the Versailles peace was unfair, to mention some.
The Hitlerjugend, however were, as you said, brainwashed from an early age, but noone reached twenty-five before the war was over. At least not the "fully educated" ones.
